It has been an absolute pleasure working with Stephen to get my knee better! He helped me to heal and get back to running without pain! I highly recommend Omni Sport performance and Physical Therapy. Both Stephen and John are amazing humans, very kind and knowledgeable!!

After years of CrossFit workouts, I always felt my overhead/shoulder movements could be smoother. I’m glad to have been introduced to Jon Bailey. I could see improvement in my mobility and rotator cuff strength just after two sessions. The service provided by Jon is excellent. I went for 6 sessions with him and there was progress between every session. I started feeling better on pull-ups/overhead presses/shoulder workouts. Training is provided through Everfit app and it’s easy to follow along. I would do the prescribed workouts 2-3x a week. Jon took great care and was very accommodating with my schedule changes. I would highly recommend Jon and OMNI Sport for all the physical therapy.

I am a lifetime mixed-martial artist, fighter, and now coach. I am also a U.S. Army veteran, where I served my time as an Airborne Infantryman. I only give my background to help the readers understand how jacked up my body is in many places. I have seen both Dr. Stephen Mayo and Dr. Jon Bailey who are both the most attentive, knowledgeable, and communicative PT's I have ever worked with. They are both extremely personable gentlemen who work meticulously to make sure you will get the care you need and the relief you've been dreaming of. They stay in touch with me constantly throughout the week to make sure the exercises/workouts are going well and always try to obtain any information possible to help adjust the training plan for specific needs or minor injuries I may have picked up training during the week. I've dealt with lower back pain and hip tightness for the last 5-7 years of my life and I saw immediate relief after working with Dr. Mayo and Dr. Bailey after my first session. The key is to be consistent with your treatment and these gentlemen will go above and beyond to encourage and remind you as their patient that the work needs to be done consistently if you truly want to obtain the results you are looking for. I recommend them to anyone and everyone I meet that is dealing with some form of pain in their body!

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before getting started at OMNI in Cumming.

Do I need a referral to start PT in Georgia?

Georgia allows direct access to physical therapy, meaning you can schedule your free discovery call and evaluation without a physician referral. If you'd like documentation of your plan shared with other providers, we're happy to coordinate with your care team.

How long are sessions, and how often will I need to come in?

Every session is a full 60 minutes, one-on-one with your physical therapist — no aides, no shared sessions. Most clients start with one to two visits per week and adjust based on progress and goals. We work around your training schedule, not the other way around.

Will I have to stop running or training while I'm in PT?

Usually not. We believe smart, modified training is often part of the recovery process. We work with your schedule and adjust loads or movements when needed, but the goal is to keep you moving and building confidence throughout your care.

Do you accept insurance?

We're a cash-based clinic and do not accept insurance. This model allows us to give you a full hour of one-on-one attention each session and build a plan around your goals — not insurance codes. Superbills may be available for potential out-of-network reimbursement — confirm with the clinic.

What makes OMNI different from other PT clinics in Cumming?

Every session is one-on-one with a licensed DPT. Dr. Bailey holds an OCS — a board certification earned by fewer than 10% of PTs — and both providers are certified in dry needling. We pair clinical expertise with a deep understanding of athletic training so your rehab is built around your sport, not just your symptoms.
